For weeks, I attempted to set up a session for designer Sharee Sloan and her company, Six21. I first met Sharee over the summer while I was working at the model casting calls for Greensboro Fashion Week’s fall show. Between working a full time job, helping with fashion week, and putting together her very first collection, she opted to focus on the photo shoot after the show was over.
Fast forward to September, Sharee’s collection was superb and really stood out amongst the other designers. I may have to have her style me (once I drop a few pounds lol). With Fashion Week behind us we finally got the chance to start planning the shoot. My friend, Lamont Davis of Davis Mobile Detailing, linked me up with one of his clients that happens to own a 2015 Lamborghini Huracan. With that portion of the photo shoot tackled, we moved on to casting Isaac as our model.
I’m happy everything lined up as it did. Everyone had a great time and talked and got to know each other. This was the first shoot that my 5 month old daughter was able to attend, along with my lady Teshome who helped a great deal behind the scenes. This was the first time that Sharee participated in styling for a big shoot and she was thrilled. I’m excited about the shots we were able to get. Sharee and I are already planning the next shoot for her portfolio. Once again a big thank you goes out to Issac, Teshome, Lamont, and Munsoor.
